Best US Stocks 2026

The list ranks US stocks by their price gain since January 1, 2026 (year to date). "Best" here simply means: the biggest price gain this year – it does not mean the stock is necessarily a good buy right now. A stock that has already risen sharply can be overvalued. Always check the signal, the score, plus the price target before you act.

Not automatically. A big gain says nothing certain about the future – sometimes the momentum continues, sometimes a pullback follows. Use the list as a starting point: click the stock, then check our technical signal, the overall score, plus the analyst price target before you decide. Trading stocks carries a risk of losses.

The S&P 500 is the index of 500 of the largest listed US companies – the closest thing to "the market as a whole" for US stocks. The "vs S&P 500" column shows how many percentage points the stock has beaten the index by this year (or how far it lags behind). Only the gap to the index tells you whether a stock has truly done better than average.

The list is recalculated daily after the US market close. Stocks that listed after January 15 are not included – their "year-to-date return" cannot be compared fairly with stocks that traded the whole year.
