Who we are
WallStreetBuys is operated by Tradedesk Aps, a company registered in Denmark (company registration no. CVR DK41450665), Skæringvej 88, Kirstinelund, 8520 Lystrup, Denmark. Because we are based in the EU, we handle personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — a strict European privacy standard — regardless of where you live.
1. Personal data we collect
We collect personal data that you choose to share with us, including your name, email address, and payment information. We also collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, and visit patterns through cookies.
If you use our tools, we also process the details you add yourself about stocks and portfolios (for example ticker, number of shares, purchase price, and value). We use these details only to provide the service to you — and we never sell them.
2. How we use personal data
Your personal data is used to provide and improve our services, send newsletters and updates, manage your account and any subscription, and meet legal requirements.
3. Sharing of personal data
We do not share your personal data with third parties unless it is necessary to provide our services or required by law. We work with selected processors who handle data on our behalf, including Stripe (payments), Mandrill/Mailchimp (email), and Anthropic (Claude AI). Some of them are located outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. When we transfer data there, it happens on a legal basis such as the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so your data remains protected to a standard equivalent to that of the EU.
Use of artificial intelligence (AI)
If you use features such as portfolio import or portfolio analysis, we send the information you enter (for example a list of your stocks) to our AI provider Anthropic (Claude), which helps read the text and phrase the analysis. The information is used only to give you the answer — it is not used to train AI models and is stored only briefly by the provider.
