DAX

What is the DAX?

DAX stands for Deutscher Aktienindex and is Germany's leading stock index. It originally held 30 companies but was expanded to 40 on 20 September 2021, and from that same review constituents are selected by market capitalisation alone. The shares trade mainly on Xetra, Deutsche Börse's electronic platform.
